Apples and cinnamon produce a lovely flavor profile, making this dish pleasing to those that enjoy a bit of sweet without being overwhelmingly so.
- Turkey tenderloin / breast (I use about 2 pounds)
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Apple juice (or apple juice and water combined)
Place turkey in slow cooker. Lay slices of apple around and on top of turkey. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour in apple juice to about half the thickness of the turkey. Cook on LOW for 8 hours. Coarsely pull turkey tenderloin apart and enjoy with the apples and leftover juice (keeps it moist).
